Hi, I bought a tablet for my son for christmas, I've purchased this from a well known high street shop.
On receiving the tablet the cashier asked did I mind that it had been checked (therefore the packaging was open) I stated I didn't.
Fast forward to christmas and my son was thrilled with the tablet, it looked new and had no marks on it, a few days later I was setting up the wifi at his sister's when I noticed it had an email address registered on it and a particular app was linked to this.
Therefore I'm presuming it's been used and returned, obviously I'm not best pleased as I bought it as new.
Anyone have any idea of my rights in this, I'm fairly sure I can return and ask for a replacement as it's not as described however I just want to be sure before I go there.

Was it the only one they had in stock? I sometimes ask for a bit of discount if its a clearly opened box and its the only one left.0
