You're obviously not understanding the advice. You don't need to move the router anywhere.
My Virgin router is upstairs and my Smart TV is downstairs. You have two simple choices;
1. If you want a wired connection - which is best but not essential - then you buy a pair of Homeplugs.
You plug one homeplug upstairs into a socket beside your router and attach an Ethernet cable from the homeplug to the router.
You then walk downstairs and plu the 2nd homeplug into a socket next to your TV. You then attach another Ethernet cable from that homeplug into your TV.
2. If you want to use WiFi and the signal is good enough and your Smart TV supports a WifI connection, then simply connect via Wifi.
You do not need to move your router and you most certainly do not need two routers.
You can also have a 2nd Smart TV upstairs and connected in the same manner if it's not close to the router.0 -
The OPs already been told this twice. I'm all for giving advice, as is everyone else on here, but at least listen to it. And if you don't understand the advice given, ask!0

littlerock - your Virgin Superhub is a MODEM, and WiFi ROUTER. You can only have one MODEM (connecting your home to the internet). Behind that, you can have as many routers as you like.
ANYWAY, the TV you're looking at has WiFi, so you don't NEED to connect it to your Superhub, WiFi should be fine unless you know you have poor signal.
For the soundbar, you've confirmed that your TV has an optical digital OUTPUT, so you should make sure that any soundbar you buy has at least one optical digital INPUT.0 -

Not quite, the Superhub is a modem, router, switch and wifi access point all in one.
having more than 1 router on the same network complicates things. You can get away with having 2 router devices on the same network by disabling the router functionality on one of them, effectively turning it into a switch. But if you are going to do that you may as well just use a switch.
The router is what effectively shares the wan (internet) connection across the network. Its the switch that creates that network. As you have only 1 internet connection, you only need 1 router, and then expand the network with switches/hubs0 -

Thanks, I know, but I was trying to explain it simply to the OP.0
