Hi
I am looking for a 0% CC transfer deal, so applied for an AA Card today, but was rejected. I thought that a tad odd, so I did the CCEC on MSE site, and the result said 'Unfortunately, we have not been able to find your details at the Credit Bureau. Please check and try again.'!!
How is this possible? I obviously exist, have been at this address some time, have bank accounts etc, and also have a Noddle Credit Check account set up by TalkTalk after the hacking incident that found me!!
Could this be why I was rejected? Because if so, there isn't a lot of point me applying to others to do this if the result is to be the same.

Check all 3 of your credit reports to see what is on there: Experian, Equifax and Call Credit.
Equifax (Clear Score) and Call Credit (Noddle) are both free, it should only cost you £2 for the Experian one.
You could have been rejected for all manner of reasons, affordability, credit utilisation too high, low salary etc.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. Could the reason you apparently don't exist be due to a simple typo when you entered your details in the eligibility checker? Either on your name, DOB or address?0
