    Evening Pennywise,

Ha I have just used the exact same line "long may it continue" in my post :rotfl: great MSE minds and all that!

Awww bless DD, glad she's working hard. So awful about Manchester, saddens and annoys me in equal measures when I think about it. One of our teachers daughters was there and she's is totally traumatised by it poor girl :(.

Yay to break up tomorrow, cheers  xx

  • Evening diary.

Busy day today went to a1di first thing and did a largish shop and spent £63, pottered around the garden and got the garage tidied out.
I have listed 17 items on £bay today and will hope full list another 15 tomorrow. I've made a list of all the jobs I want to get through over the next week it's quite a long list but should be doable.

Steak for tea tonight it's ages since I last I had steak so really looking forward to it. Lasagne planned for tomorrow and must do some baking as we are all out of treats.Visiting a relative tomorrow, not looking forward to it as its always strained and hard work, it's one of those were it doesn't matter what you do it's never enough.

We have had thunderstorms this afternoon which mean't a mad dash to get the washing in, it's still raining now. I hope it clears out and is nice for the rest of the week as I have lots of outside jobs to do.

    Take care.x.

  • Morning,

Bit of a wet bank holiday Monday, but it was just a potter at home day anyway as DH/DD were at work and DS has exams coming up so is spending the week revising.

I managed to sell a few bits on £bay over the weekend so have started Junes pots early. Going to go and buy some paint for DS bedroom later I was going to paint it all cream as we have the paint already but he has aske for one wall blue and B&Q have an offer on paint so will nip in and get some. Also need to get some bread whilst out, forgot how much DS eats.
I may also start painting DS room today instead of tomorrow which I had planned, but weather is supposed to be bright sunshine tomorrow and would make sense to get out and do some gardening whilst it's sunny.

    Todays Plans -

    Tidy Kitchen.
    Wrap ebay parcels/list 3 items.
    make dental appointments.
    Start painting DS room.
    Flylady.
MAke quiche and rhubarb crumble for tea.

Hope everyone has a great day.

    Morning.

Yesterday was quite a productive day, got paint for DS room and managed to get it painted and all finished, looks lovely but took me until 9.30 last night, I was determined to get it finished but totally exhausted. just need to give it a good hoover and can start moving everything back in.
Didn't remember to ring dentist or make crumble yesterday but I did get all the other jobs done so have a little bit of catching up to do today.

It's Payday so I have shuffled some money, paid a couple of bills, paid children their allowance and checked banking.
I have sold a couple of bits on £bay so need to wrap those and get them sent. Allso try and get a couple of bits listed.

    Todays plans-

    Ring dentist.done
    Make rhubarb crumble.
    Cook gammon.done
    £bay packing/listing.packing/posting done
2hrs gardening.done, but more to do.
    clean downstairs windows.
    3 loads laundry (minimum).done
Drop DD off for hair appointment.done
    Buy mushrooms.done

I think that's everything for today, better get a shower and make a start.

    Take care.x.

  • Evening, quick update on list, almost everything done but not quite. stewed rhubarb but didn't get as far as making a crumble, we can have crumble tomorrow night and just have ice cream tonight. Windows not done so that's the first thing on tomorrows list if it stays fine.
Also didn't get any £bay listings done today so that's another job for tomorrow.
I also want to get some more gardening done as 2 hours wasn't enough but at least I am starting to get somewhere.
