Morning.
No snow this morning thank goodness, but it's Baltic and I've had to put the CH on .
Wages are in and I have transferred £100 straight into hols pot and £20 allowance each into kids account.
Need to go and make pack ups, although I think I may take a tin of soup rather than sandwiches, also going to dig out a big jumper as the central heating temp at work got turned down last week due to warmer weather and I know it will be freezing when I go in this morning.0 -
It is freezing here too and our new house is always cold so I think jumpers will be key for me going forward! Not good in (almost) May!
Happy Bank Holiday though
Debt - CCV £3792

Small tilly tidy of 53p this morning, I have a couple of items endng on £bay today. so fingers crossed that I have a few more pennies to throw at hols pot.
So cold again this morning, think we are going to have a quiet day at home today, DD has a friend coming over later and I have a Mr M shop coming later, need to get some baking done as there is no treats what so ever in the house.
Taking the kids swimming tomorrow and will hopefully get a nice long walk in with the dogs.
Going to have a look trough survey sites and see where they are all out and if any are near payout, also need to pay a couple of bills.
Meals today -
Breakkie - toast and jam
Lunch - cheese & tomato omelette
Tea - sausage, mash, peas/carrots.
snacks will be whatever I get round to baking, which I think will be flapjack and choc traybake.0 -
Have made £9.15 on £bay so that's gone to hols pot, managed to get a couple of surveys done as well this morning, house is tidy, bathroom cleaned and everywhere has either been swept and moped or hovered, clean bedding on DD bed as well.
Have made a choc traybake and as I found some frozen summer fruits lurking in the freezer I have made a meringue base, which is currently in the oven, so pavlova for pud tonight.
Found 15 eggs behind the garage wall, one of the chickens obviously decided that this was her new place t lay, have cracked them all into a bowl and they were all fine, so have beaten them up with some milk and butter, ready for scrambled eggs in the morning, nom nom.
Also Mr M order has arrived, £68 spent but a few things will last for next week, such a big bottles of tressemm£ shampoo/conditioner and I got 3 for £10 meat deal, so next weeks order should be a bit lower.0 -
15 eggs is a great find, I'm quite envious!!!
I did a lid1 shop on Thursday as I had a £5 off voucher. But I forgot to buy bread, so popped in today and spent an extra £10. I think we'll need another top up before the week is out, but we have lots in the freezer and cupboards.0 -
