Online is down again for me now, and the iOS app also looks dead.

Not quite - my FD regular saver is up today, and showing interest added. However, it hasn't transferred the funds to the linked saver account and I can't move the money over to the current account . When I try the payments and transfers button it says
Sorry, there appears to be a system problem please try again later.
    Anyone else experienced similar?

Yes, every year! Cash never seems to be available for online transfer till the day after maturity. (Perhaps if you ring they could do it sooner)

Unrelated to HSBC's current problem, I think.

Going through a certain link works, but can't post the link because I haven't made enough posts... Just go to main HSBC website, add "s" before the colon for secure protocol and add ".saas." between www & hsbc in the url then click on "Log on" in the upper right corner.

Yep, can log in too. It's still a little sluggish.

I can't get into HSBC online banking at all this morning. Just getting a message screen ...

"We're sorry Personal Internet Banking is currently unavailable, please try again later."
