Not ideal on the first working day of the month!

I have had notification of their intention to release a new app later in the year; this pleases me as the existing one is creaking. I cannot remember the last time I was able to see a fast balance.

Yesterday I moved some money around and they were the only bank who insisted that the transaction date be moved until today; the others did it yesterday.

Yes. You can't login online or via the (cr)app.

Why did they dump the old fast balance app which was simple efficient and did what you needed - balance and last six transactions. You could view in seconds what now takes ages - assuming you can login in at all.

I completely agree with you. Another example of "progress" I think!

You are quite correct; the mobile app is working now.

I can see my payments have been processed today as they should have been which is good news.

Not sure if it's all connected or just a coincidence but my wife has just tried to renew a subscription online using our HSBC credit card and as usual the Secure Code verification screen came up ... with nowhere to insert the 3 characters from our Secure Code!

Yes it is related as people can't use verified by visa or mastercard securecode.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.
