Deleted fb but has made no difference, gone from 85>73 with about 10 mins usage. Overnight went from 100> 98 in about 9 hours. Really don't understand what is up with it.

No, turned off as soon as it became available after the update. Trust me, everything is off that I don't need. ALL settings are the same since before the update so it surely isn't to do with that.

Didn't make a difference. Besides, the fb app doesn't affect my iPad battery life, well I assume it doesn't as I generally get 12-13 hours from a full charge which I'm not complaining about. Don't get why it would affect the iPhone but not iPad.
