Changing from sim only to Payugo

I am currently with 3 Network getting a good deal (4GB, unlimited minutes, unlimited text for £14) I've signed up to EE Christmas 100GB for two months and now find the signal much better, works all around the house.

EE Current tariff 1GB, 50 minutes and 50 text

What I like about the tariff is that it contains a free boost 50% data, minutes, text every three months as long as £10 is topped up every month. I've worked out I can get an extra 1GB data by May or by the of the year 3GB in total and pay only £10. I don't use voice calls or text. What's app is the way forward.

Is this to good to be true. Are there any limitations?

It starts off poor value but yeah I guess in year 2 it will start getting better, NEVER buy a 7 day back as it will reset you to the start, always any 30 day pack.

And breaks dont matter, it does not have to be concurrent months :D

Boost entitlement must be chosen with 60 days or you lose that boost, but carry on as before you didnt choose, it does not reset you to start.

Unusual for EE to be so nice :D

Nothing gets even close to Giff gaff Goodybag deals.
£10 gets 500 minutes any network or landlines
    1 GB 4g data
    unlimited texts
Free giff gaff to giff gaff calls
    £12 same but 2GB of 4g Data

As pay as you go works out, they are miles ahead on bang for buck

But long term EE bonuses are unlimited, so long term data usage is covered and as our data usage goes up online communication will become normal, at some point EU will enforce open access from mobile operators of all communication ports and data, your provider will not be (data) sim dependent.

I think long term this is a winner that EE will be trying to get customers off in 4-6 years.

Unfortunately, unable to get gg 4G in my area. I'm also a long term customer and rather have access to 4G than 3G.

Believe me sometimes you would not want it, from local launch until a few months ago (18 months in total) 4G speeds were same as 3G.

As soon as BT approval happens they will speed up 4G, BT will want to provide 4G broadband asap as its makes its monopoly known.
