I have stayed at both Premier Inn and Travelodge but when there is a £30 to £40 price difference I stick with Travelodge.PompeyPete wrote: »Used to be my choice too, but North Terminal Premier Inn is far more convenient.0

So did we, and quite liked Central Travelodge.
This'll be our 4th time at North Terminal Premier Inn. Previously we've got a £39 non-refundable offer online. So I was chuffed to get £29.50 this time.
We normally check-in at about 1500, dump our gear, and get the shuttle-train back to South Terminal. Then get the main-line train to Horley [1 stop @ £2.60 return] and have a meal and a couple of pints at the Jack Fairman [Wetherspoons].
But this time as we've got such a good deal on the accommodation we're eating in the Premier Inn and giving their dinner and breakfast deal a go.0

I am about to check their prices again. I am choosing between flying from Gatwick or Luton in September. I usually do the non refundable and risk it if the price is below £35 to £45.0

That's a good option but I prefer to head 2 stops the other way into Crawley where there are more food and drink choices including a Wetherspoons.0
