I am so tired after work, I really need to get into routine. I can do it once on a weekend day and twice in the week.
Have you tried a morning gym workout? painful at first but I started to struggle going when I was 'tired after work', but didn't want to continue wasting my membership.

No way. I'm up at6 travelling all over for work. Hardly have time to get ready let alone gym workout. Home at 7-730 but work 4 days. Racquet sport twice weekly evening.

Hi, if you're looking to put on weight - I'm guessing more in the form of muscle than fat - then you need to eat more calories than you burn each day. You also need to be lifting heavy weights and doing a bit of cardio to maintain heart health.

Carbs alone will NOT make you put on weight - eating in excess of your maintenance calories will.

I've been lifting weights consistently since November 2015 and it's changed my body a lot. I can also eat more as a result and I don't need to avoid any foods. I just make sure my food comes mainly from nutrient-dense sources although I still eat things like chocolate and crisps regularly.

It may sound pathetic and silly or just self conscious more than I am...im skinny all over but if I've eaten a lot my face feels and looks fat straight after. I've got a naturally round face but basically I worry that this eating more will make me make face look fat. I do face stretching and cardio anyway but anyway during training and weight gain to prevent it landing on my cheeks? Yea I drink lots of water so fluid retention not issue
