Hi skinny - I've been off the boards for a while and have been catching up with diaries - I've toddled over from the Debt Free Diaries thread where I live and finally caught up with you.
So pleased that things are going well for you - always interested in what you have to write!:)

So got a second interview for 2nd choice job, if I get it it won't be much of a pay rise, if any, however the pension is better, and I'll be able to sleep in my own bed every night PLUS I get a 10% off card for groceries
M&S card arrived, and 1 tank of fuel and a big shop and I've spent £100, so pay it off and wait for my £50 voucher
I got a motoring offence ticket, for being in a bus lane, for flips sake, I was only in it for about 50 yards while turning left. £65 down, it feels like monopoly this game, in one hand and out the other!!

My favourite time of the month, mortgage payment made, and signature updated. Overpayments/emergency fund saving another 42p per month.
Here's a chalenge, can I get it to <£120000 by Christmas??? :j
I’ve managed to put £1456.62 into the offset account this month, I’ve actually no idea how really, well some of it was owed expense payments, it wasn’t until I counted it all up tonight thought that I realised what is amounted to! I’m going to keep piling it in there, until I have enough to pay off the CC, and then it will be gone, and never again will I put anything on the CC that I can’t pay off within the month, you’d think I’d have learned the first time!

I have news....I got the job :j:j:j I actually won't be any better off really, the salary is the same, but I will have travel expenses getting there and back, but the pension is pretty awesome, they pay in 11%. Also a lovely company to work for, and much better long term prospect, plus I won't be living out of a suitcase and can sleep in my own bed every night. So well chuffed all round, I have to work 3 months notice though, just wondering how much soap and teabags I can gather before I leave!
I haven't been very good this week, I had a coffee shop coffee yesterday and took DD for a burger today. Everything feels a little out of control today, I need to file some more expenses and pay off a couple of amounts I have on CC for work related expenses. Also I booked a spur of the moment mini break to Bruges in December, it was only £99 each for 3 nights, but still, there will be all the extras to pay for... (I did get £18 cash back through TCB though :T)Pay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022
