Love the sound of the positive thinking meditation and the nightly hot chocolate! :) Both sound like great treats.
Yes positive thinkng helped me today and I have lots to be thankfull for.
Set off for work in the snow and skidded out of control 200 yards from the house. Luckily we didn't hit anything apart from the kerb, and no-one was hurt, DD was in the car too. But the repair bill is £1200  My excess is £620 and there goes my no claims bonus, boo. How glad am I for that emergncy fund :T In years gone by that would have gone on the CC.
The down side is I have the smallest, toylike car ever as a courtesy car, it doesn't even have central locking. big sulk,

Away tonight, and am now an elite gold member of holiday inn, with lots of lovely points I can trade in for free nights

Just off for a slap up, and then a bath as I remembered to bring my posh bubbles with me :D

Boo to skidding and losing NCB :( but glad all ok :)

OH has a 7 seater Sharan (there are 6 of us in the family, so a 6+ seater is needed in order to travel in one vehicle) - was in the garage for a couple of weeks before Xmas (someone drove into it when it was parked and drove off:mad:) - his courtesy car was an Aygo!! - even our (small for his age) 6yo complained about the lack of leg room in it! :rotfl:

Fantastic going for free nights away :T
  • WOW scary moment.....good to hear everyone safe and sound :D
  • Thank you for your good wishes, greent that's funny, I feel like I'm driving a toy car!
Low spends this week so far, although this car is heavier on fuel than my own, so I hope they fix it quick.
I had a bit of a windfall this week through one of my on line earning activities, I'm going to invest it back in the business (some of it anyway) by getting a professional logo designed.
Other than that a quite week, so far
    .
Hope it's going well for you all x

Remember I moved out of a rented house last September and the landlord wouldn't agree to repaying my bond, wanted to keep £400. Well after a very long dispute that was ended today by an adjudicator, I got all of my bond back.
I'm SO chuffed, I was so angry with him for the way he treated me after I'd been such a good tenant. I feel justice has been done. I am 100% delighted :D:j:T:beer:
