Oh no, were you able to salvage it?
Oh yes, it was only in the bathroom bin.and another uu of epic proportions:
Philosophy The Gingerbread Man Shower Gel, Bubble Bath & Shampoo 946ml - you can imagine the size of this monster, it was nice but smelt of ginger beer and not gingerbread, I still liked it but WNBA.
Wow that is big. I think I've only seen that size on QVC but have never got round to ordering it as I usually (and still do) always have so much shower gel in the stash.Ohhhhh!!! I also forgot my exciting news I wanted to share with everyone :eek:
You know I won the Tata Harper stuff in a Caroline Hiron's giveaway at Xmas? Well there was obviously a mix up at Tata Harper, because yesterday I received the prizes again, and the person who had packed up the prize this time also threw in a Boosted Eye Contouring Mask :eek:
I nearly fainted with delight, but then I felt guilty and emailed the company to tell them they had sent me my prize twice. They were lovely and replied saying that I could keep it!!!!!! It's too much stuff for me to UU however, so I am going to split the 4 cleansers between my SIL and friends. I'm keeping the eye mask though, so that's an IN for me. What a lovely company. I'm so excited to finally try one of them when my current cleanser is UU:D
I really need to do an inventory of my make up. That's my next project. How many eyeshadows and lipsticks does a girl need? Got a free sample of YSL's reformulated Touche Eclat foundation in the post yesterday. Excited to try that!
Wow, that is amazing. I love good customer service like that too. Well done you.
I've started applying to Magic Freebies for all sorts of freebies so let's see if anything comes of it.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

It was the empty tub that I was retrieving. If you return 5 empty tubs to LUSH you get a free face mask. You see, this is how you could be thinking in time if you keep following this challenge. :rotfl:
So, yesterday I did call into Boots and buy a bottle of nail polish remover. Got their own brand as I've just been using this and it did not have a detrimental affect on my nails. Also called into Bodycare and bought one of those tubs containing nail polish remover that you thrust your finger into for when I'm removing glitter polish.
The replacement LUSH Big Bang bubble bar arrived yesterday too. Very pleased with LUSH Customer Service and gave them excellent feed back.
Another week practically over ladies. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

2 more INs today
1ml Odacite Pomegranite & Rose Geranium Serum £1.95
250ml Original Source Vanilla & Raspberry shower gel. £2.30
At this stage I am hoping to UU 5 out of the 6 remaining products on my PP list, and must look out products to replace themThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Hi everyone,
I'm now back from my trip to Norfolk to see the wild Grey seals and their pups which was incredible! The second most exciting part of the trip was that I got to have my first bath in a few years (I do shower, it;s just that my flat doesn't have a bath)!
I also went in to Home Bargains which was exciting as we haven't got any here in Surrey but I managed to refrain from buying any toiletries!
Anywho, now for my UUs:
Zoella Tutti Fruity Bath Fizzer: This came with a beauty box and looked interesting, however the scent was weak and it didn't dissolve properly in the water so I had lumps of it in the bath! WDNBA.
S&G Clean On Me Shower Gel 50ml: Used as bubble bath - prefer other S&G scents, WMBA.
Boots Deep Pore Facial Scrub 150ml: Would prefer this to have more scrubby bits in it but was okay. I did get quite sick of it by the end though so WMBA.0 -
Wow I feel very guilty, not much else being confused from the Boots Sale! I was pretty good and just got a tin of Santuary and the body scrub/butter S&G kit plus a 25p chocolate orange scrub from Wilko this afternoon. UU my Issey Miyake and bit on a replacement on Ebay but not won yet.Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
UU Molton brown hand cream. Have another 3 to get through mind WDBA I'm a bit of a Molton brown junkie!!
Lots of outs to report. Too many to list but had a mass clear out on eBay of my brand new stuff mostly Liz Earle and got £100 backCurrent Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0 -
UU
Burts Bees Almond and Milk Hand Cream 10ml - This was a lovely cream with nice consistency (I don't like runny hand creams) which smelled nice and a little went a long way. I would probably buy this full size but it would have to be as a gift or a little treat for myself. WDBA
Tesco Refreshing Handwash Aloe Vera & Cucumber Extracts 500ml - This lasted several months, although I was the only one using it. I bought it for only 90p so it's good value for money. I also liked the scent.
INs
Katy Perry's Mad Potion 100ml (gift from a friend)
Zoella Blissful Mistful 45ml (bought in Superdrug sale)
Zoella Creamy Madly Dreamy Body Lotion 100ml (bought in Superdrug sale)
Sweet Snuggles Chocolate Vanilla Hand Cream 60ml (49p in Superdrug sale)
Love & Wilde Vanilla and Honey Nourishing Hand Cream 100ml (49p in Superdrug sale)
Pink Inc Eau De Toilette 10ml (bought in Superdrug sale)
Studio London Classic Red Lip set - matte lipgloss, lipstick and lip pencil (£1.49 in Superdrug sale)
Lidl Cien All-In-One Lash Booster Mascara
I have a few things which take forever to shift. I don't impulse buy shower gel anymore as even a small travel sized tube takes a while for me to use up. At the moment, there are at least 4 products I am almost finished with but are not quite done yet.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2019 Total UU since 2016 - 396 | Total February UU - 10 -

I love that Burts Bees hand cream too, it smells like almond croissants.
I have a uu
Elemis PCMC 30ml - I have used a lot of pots and tubes of this now (all GWP) and it has grown on me although it is not rich enough for me in winter (and I don't have dry skin) so I have to use an oil underneath. I have more of it in the stash to use before I think about buying but in all honesty the price of it puts me off.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
