Bits are working. Problems being reported worldwide so appears to be a DDOS

I'll be honest when I read the thread title I thought it must be user error. Especially as I'd done my ritual scan through the BBC News app on my tablet not long before.

I can see why there was apparently so much speculation as I'd have thought there couldn't be any single point of failure for all those BBC services.
