I can't seem to access the BBC.co.uk website or it's weather page this morning. Never had a problem with them before. Is it me or are others having the same issue?
Update: ok it's not me apparently, it's their servers ... http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/bbc.co.uk.html

I wonder if it's affecting their TV news presenters since they seem to rely a lot on monitor scripts.
A comment on isitdownrightnow.com suggests it went down around 7:10am UK time.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -
Excellent
Now can they close down the rest of the BBC please...0 -
Yes, I found the same. It's back up and running now.
Edited to add - Spoke too soon, it's gone down again. On the weather app it says it's experiencing unprecedented load or something so the servers are out.0 -
Yes, there is defnitely still a problem with it. Hacked by anti Corbyn supporters maybe? There's enough of 'em.0

It is briefly coming back to life for me and then immediately goes down again. Looks likely that they are suffering a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack by hackers. I would imagine it's the BBC's policy to not acknowledge such an attack whilst it's on going.
No doubt some terrorist group will claim responsibility in due course.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -

Agency cleaner unplugged the servers to give the room a quick vacuum before New Year.0

This is not good.
I hope by midnight this is back on again.
As we have plans to project the fireworks through iplayer onto the big screen at the party.0
