Been using clinque for almost 8 mos now. Bought it online from a reliable seller and I'm happy with the results.0

This no longer seems to be available, which is a pity as it suited my skin and mixed well with my No 7 foundation. Luckily I have a small stash, but I know within 6 months I shall have to find a replacement - even on offer, many are ridiculously pricey given what I know about the ingredients. I will admit, I first bought this when another product was discontinued and it was available at an excellent price with deals, code-stacking and Advantage points.
Any suggestions for a good substitute for oily skin? (I'm mid-40s and need to hydrate my skin, but cannot stand the oil slick look. Today I got this within 6 hours of applying my makeup, perhaps because it's been muggy?).

My grandmother had pretty good skin and used Oil of Ulay. Although my mother doesn't use anything other than soap and water, she's got pretty good skin for her age so I guess it's genes.
Before I was married, I spent money on a Clarins facial every month and used a mix of Clarins and Clinique. For years we were too poor for me to afford facials, makeup etc and it took its' toll on my face.
Don't rate Clinique skincare but do like the makeup. Not keen on the Clarins makeup but love the skincare. When younger I bought Nivea Visage in France on holiday and loved it, but the range here just wasn't as good IMO so haven't tried it in years.
Just bought some anti-ageing serum by Le Petit Olivier from T K Maxx for 7.99 and it's really made a difference to my dry neck, in a week.
I'm going to buy some Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser as it leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. Also like Clarins Beauty Flash Balm which can be used under makeup.
Going to try some Kryolan products as well, as much used by makeup artists.0 -
any recommendations for a good night cream? i have combination skin, slightly sensitive and suffer from mild breakouts - i cannot seem to shake the lingering whiteheads that are always around
i'm 27 so not overly concerned with wrinkles - although perhaps i should be taking preemptive action?
Lancome Visionnaire Nuit. Its worked best on my combo, sensitive, breakouty skin. It's gel in oil and seems to chill my skin out especially when I cleanse with Liz Earle C&P.0 -
For those who use coconut oil, do you rub it straight on? Or do you mix it with something else?Loving the sunny days!0

Has anyone use 'The Ordinary' skin care range? I've been looking at it - it's reasonably priced with good reviews - but so many different products to pick from!0

Well worth giving a go.
Where did you buy these products?0 -
I have used both Clinique and Clarins. Clinique didn't impress me at all, wheras some of the Clarins products worked for me.
Recently, I looked at ingredients in products and thought 'Why I am I spending money on organic food, but putting chemicals on my face ? '
I have started looking for products without parabens. SLS etc. So far, I'm liking Childs Farm moisturiser with grapefruit and organic tea tree oil, from ASDA and Ocado. Pump dispenser, big bottle and a little goes a long way. Aimed at babies so dematologically tested etc and only £3.500 -

I have read that it can be too heavy for people prone to blackheads. I cook with organic coconut oil when making spicy food (it's a bit weird for fried eggs to me) plus I use it to take off makeup, moisturise my body and also use as a hair treatment. Don't mix it with anything else.
Cheapest place that I've found for a small jar of organic coconut oil is b&m.0 -

I like the buffet with copper & the red peel.
I like some of the niod stuff, sanscript sapions. I really like the niod masks, flavonone mud and mastic must.
I like some of the hylamide range, high Efficiency cleanser.
I like some Gatineau (throat gel & ant aging cleanser), Liz Earle c£p.
Facetheory green tea serum & the caca oil.
I don’t think I have a favourite eye cream.0
