Sign the Petition for Womens state pension age going up unfair

The current demands bear little resemblance to those which the petition called for, time to recognise that. The current Facebook page (in all fairness, it could change by lunchtime) calls for help only for women IN their fifties, casting off, at a stroke, the potentially most vulnerable who were born in THE fifties. All in all, a shambles.
They've obviously talked to MPs and are changing their tack from the previous ridiculous compensation for all women born in the 50's, but they don't seem to have a clue what it is they want...0 -

The same "ask" is there but just worded differently.
New ask; What is our ask? "WASPI ask the Government to put all women in their 50s, born on or after 6 April 1951 and affected by the state pension age in exactly the same position they would have been in had they been born on or before 5th April 1950" All we are asking is to give us what we are entitled to. All we are asking is for the Government to meet with us.
Sounds like someone with difficulty in Maths.
So the request for compensation has actually grown.0 -
just another bunch of women with a sense of entitlement.... it'll blow over. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

Perhaps once they learn to count??
Anything to add to the "Inform the debate" thread Al?
You know my thoughts lol.
The whole thing is a shambles. They've called me racist, sexist, mysoginistic and a creep. That much, I don't mind. Worse, if it wasn't something harmless, they have treated the process with contempt, subordinating the genuinely needy to their own addled perception.
Even worse.. if at all possible, the Facebook page has changed yet again, from last night and just now. It's appalling.Independent Financial Adviser.0 -
Their Facebook page contains hilarious stuff, such as:All we are asking is to give us what we are entitled to.
Followed immediately by:All we are asking is for the Government to meet with us.0 -

I do but the thread is going to feed back to the debate before it happens so may be useful?Even worse.. if at all possible, the Facebook page has changed yet again, from last night and just now. It's appalling.
I saw the two attempts last night but seems to have remained as it was from late last night - so far!
Looks like it's an attempt to match up with WPSC transcript.0 -
What an utter shambles.
They are suddenly representing me, as a woman in my 50's, albeit one born in March 1960.
Yet the women who have been worst affected, those born around 53-54, thus being already in the 60's, are suddenly excluded from their 'ask'
Honestly, they are behaving like a bunch of headless chickens.
It's ridiculous that they keep tinkering with their 'ask' at this late stage in the proceedings, without even making an announcement.Early retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
I do find their choice of name ironic - most other waspies tend to create an annoying buzz0

Even though their petition said otherwise.
