Alarm clock radio that can be configured from computer?

I am looking for a new alarm clock radio for my bedroom. I have a fairly irregular work pattern, so need the alarm to go off at a different time every day. I also find that the user interface on most alarm clock radios are a bit of a faff, especially if you need to alter them every night.
So what I'd ideally like is a clock radio that I could configure remotely from my computer - or Android phone - which would allow me to set up the times that I want the alarm to go off each day that week.
Does such a device exist?
(Note: I normally only listen to Radio 4 in the mornings, so devices that stream music around the house probably won't help. I also like to have reasonable sound quality - FM is good enough - so just using the alarm on my phone won't work).

Use your alarm on your phone.0

Whats wrong with the alarm on your phone? No issues with what you ask on an Android phone.
If your phone doesn't have FM then you could pick up an older Android phone for less than an alarm clock and use a laucher to start the radio with the alarm.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
A phone or a tablet and a bluetooth speaker. Plus an alarm clock radio app if you want radio.GabbaGabbaHey wrote: »Does such a device exist?

Many thanks for the suggestions so far.
As I mentioned, the sound quality of the phone is just not up to it - current alarm clock radio is a Revo Axis and other radios in the house are mostly Pure or Roberts - though the idea of using a Bluetooth speaker is one I hadn't thought of and will look into if I can't find an all-in-one unit.
Should also have mentioned budget - would prefer to stay under £200 if possible, and certainly below £500 unless it's an extremely good solution.Philip0 -
you can use Reminders instead, or calandars if you're on android. such services are synced to the cloud and you have access via a PC.0

I think it can be a docking station if you want a neater arrangement.GabbaGabbaHey wrote: »... the idea of using a Bluetooth speaker is one I hadn't thought of and will look into if I can't find an all-in-one unit.0 -
One option might be a standard radio which has remote control, and then somehow automate the generation of the remote control signal to actually turn it on.
I'm kind of thinking of the days of the VHS recorder which were really hard to program, so you could buy a third-party remote control which you could program more easily, and then left it pointing at the recorder and it would turn it on and off as required.
Not sure what's currently available off-the-shelf in that area - I think some smartphones can control devices, but maybe that's bluetooth rather than IR.
ETA: no, it seems that some smartphones do have IR transmitters - didn't know that...
Possibly a bit of a risk if the IR transmitter gets misaligned, so might want a backup alarm of some sort.0 -
Blimey talk about a complicated way of doing something so simple !!!0

Just buy a clock radio which has 5 different alarms each of which can be configured.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.
