Thanks, Charly. Glad you're dad is coping better with the chemo. It is exhausting. I love the vintage look of your birthday card. Have fun with the quilt.

mrs-m, I hate mending, but I do get a perverse sense of satisfaction when it's done! The instant theft of your hearts is a sign that your work is fab. Well done.

I have a baby quilt to plan, but I've promised myself I'd get some trip pics printed and into an album a friend gave just for that purpose.

Long time since I checked in - I moved house 2 months ago to be near to the hospital for my ongoing cancer treatment. I am still knitting and so posting a few pics onto Flickr as evidence! I am not really doing 17 projects but if I remember I'll post some more.

Thanks very much to everyone who has given me support over the last year or so since diagnosis.
Knitting is great therapy and I enjoy making things and selling for charity - will continue forever.

Owl fan I'm so glad you're continuing to enjoy your knitting. Hope the treatment is going well for you. I've totally lost the thread, if that's not too much of a pun. Plugging away at the cross stitch and joined a knitting group for inspiration x

    Congratulations green tiger.

I have made a couple of things including this beast https://flic.kr/p/ZxAAMk

I’m part of a knitting group planning to yarn bomb the carnival.

It’s been a bad few months. We had our fur baby of 12 years put to sleep at the end of August and my dear dad passed on the 8th October - nine weeks ago today.

Thanks MrsMP, all part of life’s rich tapestry. Crafting helps, being part of something helps, being connected helps.

    Here’s to 2018!

    I don’t imagine there will be 18 in 2018?

Happy new year to you all. I’m :)
