Made this from 3 flags, a zip and a bit of gingham for lining, I did have to buy 2 new flags but everything else I had in. Today it's street party day at work in celebration of the queens 90th birthday. I may have gone slightly over the top with the wear something red white and blue brief we were given.

No not at all over the top, I had the same brief and I was much more restrained. Red skirt and white blouse with blue and red boats :rotfl::rotfl:

Not on my list but now I have sorted all my fabric ( took some to CS today) I tackled repairs: mended two bags, a dressing up dress for school, sewed ribbon into aprons so they hang up nicely and mended DH favourite shirt. This involved me using the buttonhole foot on my machine for the first time. So excited; then realised I'd sewn the patch on the front. Doh! Unpicked and started again. Whew!

Hiya, I've not done any sewing for ages (yet slipped and purchased another sewing kit, whoops). A friend got me into Hama beading though, this is the result
