not really.
the op got home with their new phone, 1st thing you normally do is switch it on and set it up and play with it at this stage op has no reason to think the phone is any different in ram size to what they asked for. during setup process you usually get a few texts from the provider ie 02,ee, which sends the settings for mms messages etc. Its's now setup and technically used and at this stage the op is under the impression its their's they have a contract etc.
So the op now decides to put some tunes on it and then notices "oh hello this is a 64gig model" what should i do.... for now am going to play ignorant and say nothing. or should i take it back...........
and here we are now, nothing illegal in what i have described above also nothing wrong with what i have described its what you do when you get a new phone or tv or xbox. plug n play read box n papers later.0 -

It doesn't matter to Carphone Warehouse. The poor employee who accidentally gave you the wrong phone will be disciplined and will either lose his job and asked to pay for his mistake. It's not your problem.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

What??? Seriously???
The OP should do what he knows he should do - answer the phone when CPW ring him (instead of ignoring them) and make arrangements to return the phone.
I'm astonished (although I guess I shouldn't be) at the number of people who think it's OK to try to wriggle out of sorting this out.0 -
Correct, this is a consumer rights board, morals dont come into it,
What would CPW do if the phone was damaged? Would they still say they want it back to replace the phone or would they then say the phone now actually belongs to the OP?
Im playing devils advocate, does the phone now belong to the OP?0 -
