I'm worried about the credit searches on my credit report if I do anymore.

Don't be. Unless you're having to open a current account to get at the regular saver no credit search will be made.

If you need to open a current account to access the regular saver, you may have a point. But there will be no "credit searches " for the RS's in them selves

Even credit searches for any pre-requisite current account will not make any substantial difference to your financial standing, particularly if you do not request any overdraft facility. If you aren't looking for a loan or mortgage in the next 6-12 months, current account searches will have no adverse impact on anything at all.

HSBC didn't like my perfect history so they denied me a Advance account for their regular saver.

HSBC, 1st Direct, Nationwide, TSB, Lloyds.

M&S would be next income permitting. These regular savers are great stuff to make u scrimp and save.

I don't have any real income and have all those plus Nottingham BS. I drip feed from savings. If I had £2,000 spare each month I'd need to earn quite a lot of money and I don't earn that much. Open one every month and every month one will mature restoring the savings to enable another to be opened.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
