Sold three things on eBay today... more unused stuff gone... yippee! saying that though one person is coming 30 miles to collect so hanging fire on my judgement on that.

Well, all eBay things gone. counting down to payday and hopefully will get me closer to being on track.


Stupidly forgot to sign my mileage expenses form for HMRC so have to resend that. Need to chase up a few other bits.


House looks a bit better too now that clutter is going and being able to let go of unused items. Hopefully I will sort through more so we don't spend our life indoors tidying in the holidays but out making memories. I am determined that this is my year to get on top of everything.

Feeling as though I slept and woke up a few weeks later as I don't seem to have done nothing since I last posted.

Saying that though I have done a lot of clearing of clutter etc that I keep meaning to get round to but never do. I have heard back from companies who accept my minimum payment. I have a decent amount of hours this week so hoping to pay off more though.

Also gathering items for a Easter stall event for dd who is raising money for a special guide camp, think I might have mentioned that the way I see it is the more crafty bits I use up that she gets money for the less I have to pay later in the year!

Sounds like you have been achieving a lot since you last posted, well done. My clearing of the clutter is done at a plod, but every 15 minutes yields more stuff to leave the house and a slightly tidier home:)

Where have I been?


I think I have been having a bit of a wobble. I would say that I just haven't had enough time to focus but don't think this is true. I think dd being ill might have played a part but really need to get back on track.


The getting rid of junk has 'lightened' the load as I am not coming home to a house with stuff that is not used but i kept just in case. i can find things faster too!

I think 'going' public actually scared me away. Debt busting is very daunting, a real spiral if you are not careful on getting depressed and taking control of all aspects of your life. I can't afford to go out, I live payday to payday so I go online and see what people are up to on social media and then I feel so worthless at times. Some days I feel so positive and get on with things and just as I feel I am making progress something crops up. Zero hours work is not for anyone who struggles to budget and now catch 22 is here, to go for an interview i have to loose work and if i don't get the job it is money down the tube.


Don't mean to depress people with my post just having an off day and hopefully sharing with others that wobbles along the way are normal.
