Did not get through as much as I had planned yesterday, not that I sat around doing nothing just that things took longer than expected such as the spray and wind Whilst driving!
Got in my other job app. I am only applying for ones that I can still see myself in in three years time so that I don't walk from one disaster into another!
One thing that did annoy me yesterday was one call insurance. I didn't renew my insurance with them as they were more expensive than'better' ones I had found online. The guy did not understand that to charge £30 for a broker fee when they had not delivered was a bit cheeky. Anyway, roll on 48 hours I get an email with a link with my welcome package. I go through live chat who assure me it is cancelled. Then yesterday I get a text with when my first payment will come out. Go onto live chat to find they had not cancelled the DD! To make sure they have, I have cancelled it from my end too. One mistake I can put down to human error but this?!
Off to do the school run. I never do mine in pjs etc!Don’t put it down - put it away!

No cancellations yesterday so clocked up some money for next weeks payday. getting a bit annoyed at the extra we are now expected to do in our spare time yet we are only paid by the hour so am hopeful the job applications I have put in are fruitful. ironically, in theory, I will bring in the same amount of money if I work three days permanently [a job I have put in for] which will then be topped up with HB and the other benefits that kick in. I would have to earn an extra £100 a week from work to even match it! I am toying with the idea so that I can volunteer on the other days to get the experience for a better job.
A few of the cheques have now been cleared. one or two letters have arrived. i love the standard replies which show the companies have not even bothered to read mine as they ask for me to send an SOA yet i had already included one from step change in the original letter.
I am also about to resend communication by writing only letters. I did send them in November but did not get proof of posting. his time it means i can then complain if they continue to ring.
QQ seemed to have ignored my email so i might fire off another this weekend.
on a final note.. can't wait for DD to get over her cold. she keeps putting the heating on. she has layers on including dressing gown. If she didn't have an underlying health issue as well then i would not put it on but i would rather she gets better then undergo major surgery!Don’t put it down - put it away!

I have woken up in a productive mood today. I am hoping that by the time i have taken the kids to their clubs etc. that it is still there! Sometimes when i feel the world is on my shoulders i just want to veg in front of iPad and TV all day not really doing anything constructive so i want to make the most of my mood today!
A lot of people seem to believe that debt, weight and clutter etc go hand in hand and in my case I have to agree. On this note i am hoping that if my mood persists the tidying and decluttering today [mood pending] will help me focus some energy onto debt busting later.Don’t put it down - put it away!

Good luck. You seem to have got quite a bit sorted out already. Hope you still feel as productive when you come back in.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220

Typical, I reset the alarms as they were all set to go off at weekends as well as during the week so that we could have a bit extra in bed and I wake up early. Kids are in bed so I an trying to do 'quiet' things.
Although it might not look it I did do a bit yesterday as I am trying to find proper homes for things rather than just moving them from one place to another. Whilst doing this I also did a bit of random KD. I really think this helps put me in a more positive place as when the house looks tidy I don't look at my surroundings and feel like a complete failure, it also means I think about things before I buy them especially as I am 'telling myself off' as i get rid of things for wasting my money!
There is a local car boot soon so i have a pile of things to go to the tip and another on the way for car boot. It is only a fiver and I have decided to price low to get rid of stuff and anything left at the end will go straight to the tip.
Towards debt busting I have had some letters back and will now readjust my figures and start to put some in my original post. Letting myself 'go public' is very daunting and I now realise why some posters disappear at the mere mention of an SOA. I am quite happy with my budget that I did on step change so at the moment don't feel i need to tweak it. Posting my debt figures as they change might help me monitor how I am actually doing.Don’t put it down - put it away!

Not had much time to post, i was given some more hours which meant more planning of lessons. i have a real dilemma on my hands in that I have an interview for one of the jobs but it is the one i least wanted and i can't make up my mind if my heart is still in it versus it is permanent, part time and i could still pick up hours on my current job. Decisions, decisions!
Sadly i am not in the same get up and go mood as last weekend and the rainy weather and one of the girls has been invited out means it will not happen. think i might just try eBay now as things lying around seem to be a green light for the girls to dump things!
managed to get a couple of mystery shops for the Monday of half term. i am going to link these to using our merlin passes, packed lunch etc to have a cheap day out. as much as i want to pay off my debts and have a buffer i think that if you completely cut any enjoyment out of your family life it can actually make your more depressed and in my case, remind me what i failure i am with money.
Rent and council tax are now up to date but other than that the rest is work in progress.Don’t put it down - put it away!

So I have noted what I owe in my original post this being:-
Family members 403.92
B'card Visa 215
Aqua Visa 1165.53
Capital One 369.75
Nursery Fees - asked them to supply figure but not heard since letter sent 13 Jan
JD Williams 1337.42
Studio 144.07
La Redoute 318.19
Npower 2150
Pro 191.00
Freemans not heard yet but circa 300
Very 424.49
Alongside the payment plan money i should have about £200 next payday to throw at the debts but can't decide whether to split it or say for example pay off studio and throw the rest at another. I think the idea of a shorter list works for me as then i can ward off the phone calls which stress me.Don’t put it down - put it away!

Thought i would do an update so i know where i am. I have just realised a diary helps jog the memory as to roughly when you did things rather than digging out the paperwork and notes!
I have not heard from Barclaycard. Not even to say they had received it. stupid me forgot to get a certificate of posting so If not heard by weekend i will send again.
nursery have not responded in a month so i did gather thoughts from other people as I will stop paying now until i hear as due to unfortunate incidents have not got last invoice.
not heard from nationwide. They did say i would hear by the 11th so a few days before i can chase that.
finally QQ sent me my old statements. wow, the interest was more than loans. fired off an email to them.
i have a few more bits to chase but know if i have too many things on the go at once i will get myself in a muddle.Don’t put it down - put it away!

Was just checking the lack of bank balances tis morning and on a whim decided to check my DD. I now need a rant.
I decided not to renew my car insurance with one call and rang to cancel the day before. I then get text a day or so later to say thanks for renewing. contact live chat who say it was just a cross over. later that week get another text to say i can now view my documents on line. live chat confirm cancelled but direct debit was not cancelled and would do it there and then. now this morning, some three weeks later it is on bank account dd list. i have now cancelled via bank. I have never had so much hassle in not renewing in my life before. When I update bits next week I think i will fire off a complaint. Best part was they would have charged a £30 broker fee for finding me cheapest insurance, they could not understand the irony that at least three companies were cheaper than them this time so they weren't exactly value for money!
Happy Friday all!Don’t put it down - put it away!
