Candlelight
Fortunately the house we have now is uphill but the flooding has affected the main street ,the shops and near the church.
We had a family meal arranged with DDs, SIL and his parents and sister tonight in Leeds then found the bridge was closed so had to detour a lot to get there. We had a nice meal and then drove home the way we had come to find that was now closed off :eek: Eventually we managed to circle the town and go on the bypass and then double back.
Glad to be home safely and it was lovely to have all my girls for Christmas. Youngest gets driven back to Liverpool tomorrow night and not sure what plans the others have. Looks as if I am cooking a family meal tomorrow evening before they set off.
