    Had a lovely 2 Course meal and our 1st drink with my daughter with a Groupon voucher which only cost me £12.75 saving me £28.20 on the bill of £40.95 we ordered 2 extra side dishes which were £5.30 which my daughter kindly paid for :)

    Thanks FunBrum I do my best :) it's great reading everyone's findings. I do genuinely try every day to make a little extra in ways that make sense to me (why wouldn't you pick up change or coupons?) & I like being here among like minded folk.

    Well I have a non-womble to report, the people selling the house would not budge on price, so anti-womble of £3k. However the mortgage is half the price of renting so I will have to start a MFW diary when I have a M to be F of.

    Just yellow stickered bread and onions in my haul today, mini saving of £1.60.




    I am looking forward to next Tuesday when the kids' 6% accounts mature and it all comes back into my account (the kids get the interest) before the house deposit goes out.
