Hello everyone :j
Please can I join turning forty this year and thinking more of wanting less and especially needing to work less due to health reasons:( financially responsible for me dd 16 ds 14. In a lot of debt will be so for the next seven years  gonna focus on getting frugal and not adding to the debt making it challenging. Having to wheat and dairy free due to health but will be doing more research to make things myself. Gonna set a budget of 4000 for clothes food and fuel. Already spent 45 on food so will update sig in a min. Gonna do stocktake and meal plans to help and try and get kids on board. Need to start making gluten free biscs as they were 3.50 for 6 and me and ds have eaten them in one sitting :rotfl: planning on starting a diary to get me on tracks dn saving in advance for things. Should have done this years ago  but doing it now ! Good luck everyone :j:beer:SPC 084, wloss 4lbs/35lbs, no hair dye 2016 10/12 :j,0 -
I didn't need any food shopping today other than the very basics like milk, butter etc. BUT I had a £9 off £60 voucher for Mr S that expired today, so felt compelled to use it. I've stocked up on most of my household cleaning and washing items - which should last me at least until April. Not giving up

Morning folks. Food plan and shop will be done today. I may also have a trip to Mr T this evening to see if there is any YS bread to put in the freezer.
bmma - I have started a crochet project too. The plan was for a small baby blanket but it's ended up bigger than planned. Hope to finish it over the next few days and then I will probably start another one. I have also stared making a gift for my mum which will probably be part of her birthday (I have plenty of time as her birthday is July). It is a small scrapbook which will contain a variety of quotes for inspiration and meditation.0 -
Count me in for this year
I am still working on the figures but have just less than 5 years to retirement and want to save as much as possible
Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

Shopping done today, £21 spent. Made the mistake of bringing OH with me and it ended up being £5 more expensive than it would've been had I gone alone! D'oh! He has always been good with money and has never been in debt, whereas I've been in debt for the entire 7 years we've known each other (plus more beforehand!) so me telling him not to add a few things to the basket isn't going to go down too well!0
