    Couldn't book Scotland for 22/7 :-(

Going to have to try at Easter.

But we've got Butlins minehead for 3/6

    Thanks everyone!

Now I want to know how to make it half board? - anyone know?

Big thanks to essex boy! Got my second choice for the Monday to Friday decided against 7 days because I was under the impression we couldn't book cheap ferries for the longer dates only to find out that you can! Not that its letting me book to Calais so hope I can still get some when the phone line opens. Gutted not to have bagged the longer option but still chuffed to bits. Now to sneak up to bed without waking hubby otherwise we'll both be giddy :-)

I think its best to book your own ferry as the times they give might not be agreeable with your journey or they just don't offer it for premium dates. check dfds and PO and see what they offer. DFDs quoted me £100 for a 11 night booking

I've had a look and its's about £50 more if I book direct but the price remains the same if we had booked for a full week anyway. Wish I'd gone for the week now!

  • Thanks again EB, got my first choice of Park and date ! Over the moon !!
  • I know it sounds silly but this experience totally made me realise even more so how much our family life will change now we have a kid at school. We were so used to going on holiday whenever we fancied (being self employed) we went to the south of France using the sun holidays a few years back, epic road trip! Was affordable as it was 2nd week in September.

Upside to being tied to dates is the kids shows would at least be on seeing as it's not off peak like before.

Really hope we get Scotland in the Easter promotion! *fingers crossed*

Been to Devon Cliffs for the last 3 years and was lucky enough to get it again this time

Only problem is the last 3 years we always had the option to pay extra for a luxury plus caravan , however this time it would only allow us to book a standard ?
