    Thank you. I think. ;)
I almost wish I'd missed this message. Just spent £30+
New wreath, baby's first Christmas decoration, wooden advent calendar and a few decorations. Oh well. I know if I wasn't on maternity leave and was able to get to the big garden centre near work I'd easily blow that much in a half hour lunch time when they put their Christmas stock out. Everything is too cute and it's too easy. And it's CHRISTMAS!

Got into an argument with a friend on Facebook the other day. She was whining because shops have Christmas chocolates out now. I said it couldn't come early enough for me and I love that first Christmas buzz and she went off on a big rant about it all and had a go! Oh well. Bah humbug and all that..

  • God she sounds like a dream LOL

I don't get people that need to have a go when they don't agree with other people, humbug indeed!

Oh I love this time of year, as soon as it hits September that me all I can think about is Christmas.

I started my shopping in June I think.

Well we can talk about Christmas all year long on here which makes me very happy indeed.

Oh I was the same on Matalan, there is so much gorgeous stuff!

  • I don't know if anyone uses net galley. You get given free books (kindle or other e reader) books from the publishers in advance of their release in exchange for reading and reviewing them on Amazon/good reads/your own blog.
I've used them for exactly a month and had 25 books already. Only got through 13 so far! I now have 8 Christmas books and another 5 on request. All chick lit type ones. Can't wait to dive into them. Getting the boring, non Christmas ones out of the way first.
Well worth joining if oeolle are big readers. Saves me a fortune in books I would have bought anyway and I get to read them early.
But especially now for all the Christmas ones :)

  • I'm eyeing up some bedding from Matalan for the season this year :)

picked up a children's activity pad and some kids fun crackers (I expect just a hat and joke) in the Works yesterday for a grand total of 75p! Got some little silver bells the other week to add to little tags that say 'believe' I'm going to invite little niece and nephew round to watch the polar express and eat cookies with hot chocolate etc on Saturday in December I think this year!

I think I just need pjs now for Christmas eve for each of us.

pre-ordered OH's main present from Game, made a list of what else I'll get him and what to suggest to others for him.
Littlie is almost all sorted - just need to get a couple of extra accessories/food for her new toy kitchen! and some Christmas books plus some new arts/crafts or messy play bits but they can be picked up cheaply enough

ahh really excited about the wedding (2 weeks on sunday) and the familymoon (3 weeks on Saturday) and then it's OH's birthday then Christmas! eep

I'm all finished my shopping as well :o I haven't started wrapping yet but I've made up three hampers- a sugar free sweetie one for my diabetic Dad, a pamper hamper for my lovely sis and I've just made one big hamper with all mum's gifts in. Some of the lovely peeps on the other thread asked me to post pics but my photobucket isn't working so I couldn't :(
I have five (yes five!) birthdays in the next 6-7 weeks, including an 18th, (excluding my own which is also in that time period) and OH and i's 10th anniversary. I'm well organised though- all gifts bar my nephew's 18th birthday gift which I will buy when I go to mum's next month- bought and wrapped- perfume for one friend, Lush stuff for another, a pair of gold creole earrings for mum and a mini bottle of Prosecco, a glass and some Prosecco syrups for sis, and a £35 Halfords gift card for OH for our anniversary. Feels weird to be so organised!!'

  • CCL - I love reading! I started Harry Potter again, on to book 3 right now. Once I am through with them I have the Cursed Child then all Game of Thrones books (bought in the sale for 22.00 might I add) to read so I am good for a while but might sign up once I am done.

  • LLS - The bedding looks great, think I am going to pick up some next week. Will make a point of popping in with my Mum when I pick her up from work.

That's great you have OH main present in, I don't yet. I just have some little bits & bobs in but not main gift, need to get organised.

Eeeeeeeeeeeek wedding will be here before you know it!

  • MrsRyan - Good for you lady! Did you plan to be this organised or did it just happen?

I have a few birthdays between now & Christmas too, I have my sisters in so far but none of the others.

Thank you :) it wasn't at all planned. Both my benefits unfortunately came up for renewal at the same time and I had a couple of bingo wins so I thought I'll do the shopping while I still can so in the worst case scenario if I have no money at Xmas at least I will still be able to give good gifts- I got all the b'day pressies together as it was just easier to do it that way :)
