    Thank you C-C-L

Have just taken a look, can't find a free shipping code though, any chance you can share the code :D

That's weird. It's still showing ab the top of the page for me on every page. It's KXAX5. You add it to your basket and it drops off at checkout, saves £3.50. I haven't used them before so no clue how quickly they ship.

  • Oooh I love me some Yankee! Thanks for that C-C-L!!

Havent come across any real bargains yet except my daughters dolls buggy in argos atm but will definitely share as soon as anything comes across!

That's good, that's what you need a nice easy pregnancy. Mine was a breeze...no aches pains or anything until I was induced! Although this meant I was still very active and buying probably a hell of a lot more than I planned too!

Baby's first Christmas is amazing, even with buying in advance and all the money saving tricks going you can still easily overspend!

    Hi everyone

After my holiday I can now go at Christmas full throttle lol. I'm a complete christmas nut and I have been buying the odd little present here and there. But now my holidays are over I can really crack on with it.

Got both dd's a Harry potter mug each in primark and eldest dd Harry potter pj's and colouring book. Had an amazon voucher and bought the both 2 pop vinyl figures for each dd. Lists have been drawn up and now I've gotta plan my attack as I like to finish at least a month before.

I've been on pinterest all day finding idea for some home made gifts x

It's almost September... that means Christmas stuff will be appearing in the shops soon! 116 more days!
  • 1 September 2016 - 115 days until Christmas :xmastree:

Don't think I have much else to report other than a couple of personalised Christmas cards or the kids picked up last week.

Was in Dobbies & they are starting to get organised for their Christmas stock coming in - so excited!!!

  • Hello All,

I tend off talking or planning Xmas until September 1st or whenever the first kiddy goes back - which is tomorrow for my little minx (who really sends kids back on a friday? thats just plain mean right?)
and my son is back Monday so I have dug out my new planner and have already started making lists ready for them.

My main goal for hubby this year is a Go Pro camera because I know he would get so much use from it between all the sports/photography/ride outs etc that he is - seems a good investment for so many reasons.

CCL - good luck with bump. I overspent loads on my sons first Christmas - I must of spend about 300 pound and he was only 6 months old. I learnt with my daughter - she was 5 months her first Christmas and she had maybe 4 toys and I just made sure the room was full of lights and plenty of wrapping paper/boxes.

I work in a well known highstreet catalogue chain ...... A.... and we are making room now for our christmas stock coming in so it wont be long before we are inundated with toy orders and reservations!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Anyway - 115 days to go - I had better get myself in gear

    Hope your all well x

  • Ah this thread may well become my happy place :T

I picked up some little Christmas activity/craft packs for pennies last year from poundstretcher and card factory - we only have 1 littlie but I got three of each as we also have a niece and a nephew who are young (and a brand new niece but she'll not be able to do much this year!) and if we don't see them they will keep for future years :)

I am behind at the moment though as we've been paying for our wedding (25th sep eek!) as we book things so that's been the focus!

We have two yankee gift sets we picked up earlier in the summer with the favourite scents of my mil and a couple of friends.

We've got littlie's two main presents (first bike and a toy kitchen) both bought vastly reduced and I've preordered OH's main gift (Nintendo NES mini)

My parents will get a little hamper with treats they won't buy themselves and two dvds; older brother will probably get vouchers as he goes off to Canada for (minimum) a year next year and a toiletries set. OH will also get a dvd box set, chocolate, socks and boxers plus stocking stuffers (his birthday is November so two very close together to cover!)

OH sorts he's brood - last year we focused on niece and nephew at bil1's request (token gifts for the adults) but we did buy bil2 and his gf something as they were childless but now they've just had a baby so not sure what we'll do (they are both very young at 24 and 18) as they'd huff if they weren't given anything at all!

I think my parents will host us for Christmas lunch this year and then we will call in to the inlaws on the way back. We hosted last year and I loved it and would do it again but maybe see the bils and their broods on the boxing day or Christmas eve as they are a rowdy bunch and like to be the centre of it all! OH would prefer to stay away from all that and relax :)

I need to adapt some of the free Christmas planner printables available online to design my own I think.

Next year regular service will resume with all systems go as of boxing day hehe

  • Hi sammy_kaye18,

I usually leave the planning till December :rotfl:so for me this is super organised & I am loving it!

I have everything written down in a notebook of who I need to buy for & what I have already bought in(list is out of date already so tomorrow I think I am going to have to dig everything out)

My DH would probably love a go pro aswell he is out cycling quite a bit, let me know if you see any good deals!

I think everyone goes a bit crazy for a babies first Christmas, I remember my neices first Christmas, she was 9 months old & surrounded by presents with no idea what was going on! She loved the wrapping paper more than anything else :p

Oh hon, you will be getting so busy soon in work!

  • Hi lushlifesaver,

I think we have both found out happy place in this thread :D

Craft sets are always good to pick up when you can on a good deal.

Ohhhhh how exciting for your wedding, we just had our 5th anniversary - has gone by so quickly!

You are already quite organised for Christmas anyway by the sounds of it, this is the first year I have been trying to buy in & I am just loving it! Will be such a stress free December for us!

I love the sound of these printable Christmas planners, I am off to search online for them now!

I definitely think the next thread should start on Boxing day & I already can't wait for it :rotfl:
