Another sleepless night but I did have a look at the m@alan site. If you put Christmas in the search there are lots of earrings and girls hair bits that are Christmas themed reduced. Might be nice little stocking fillers or add a bit of Christmas during December. No use to me but hopefully someone might grab a bargain0

Hi everyone, Hope everybody is ok. The festive spirit is amongst us all I see. It is exciting times! Missed you guys so much! Hubby bought me a Portrait silhouette machine in May and I am still getting used to it. It is amazing and it does so much! I am currently swotting up on youtube videos and blogs to get ideas on what the machine is capable of. I am going to have so much fun with this machine, especially Christmas stuff.
Free- Going to have a look at QVC thanks for the heads up. I did not see Brief Encounters, was it good?
Nitnurse- I was 40 in June and myself and the hubby are having a kid free night to celebrate on 16th July. I am celebrating being 40 for as long as I can x We did a huge family meal, celebrated with the kids, went out for lunch etc for my actual birthday.
Mrs Invisible- Welcome back, sounds like you had an amazing time. Wonderful that you have brought some spending money home too.
Gettingtherequickly- They sound like amazing deals. I noticed there were a few bayliss and harding sets on sale online at Debenhams too
Princesskitty29- Sounds like you had a lovely Christmassy day, hope the spreadsheet updating went well.
TreasureQueen- I did laugh when I saw your comment about the lady at the cinema, sounds like a good film. Wow, making earrings as gifts for your family. What a lovely gift, I would love that. A treasured gift that is handmade. Would you share a picture when you have finished please? I would love to see them.
Peppapig- May I ask what is your miniature Christmas shop please? Sorry If I am being dim. Glad to hear you have booked your tickets, please let us know what you thought. I used to love Abfab x
Pinksteps- Thanks for the heads up on Matalan site x0 -

0462, not dim at all. I'm one of those strange people who loves dolls houses so I have quite a few. They're 12th scale compared to real life so an inch in mini world is a foot in real life. One of mine is a little Christmas shop that I did last year but I only did the outside so I'm working on the inside now so it can come out on display when my decs go up. I've also got one set in WW2, a cottage set in present day, a big house set in 1780 and a wedding shop! Sad aren't I lol. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0

Spendless thanks for the heads up about the magazine freebies, the gifts in them sometimes are good and then others are a complete miss. I usually get the good ones and put them by for pamper hampers or stocking fillers.
Peppapig the AB Fab film looks a good laugh I cant wait to see it. A friend of mine went to see it at her local cinema and she said that the woman in front was laughing so much she had a little accident. :rotfl:
freespirit66 thanks for the heads up about Christmas in July on QVC I will have to have a browse. I have a few Christmas books on my amazon wish list and I am adding to them nearly every week.
I am making some sterling silver earrings for my Gran and Mum to go with their Christmas presents. So now I have nearly finished my grans present, I have just got to do her family tree and get it professionally printed into a book and then she will be finished ( If I cant get it done the book will be part of her birthday present next year so no worries) I have still got to get a bit more for my mums present but she is easy to buy for unlike my gran. But this year hasn't been so bad for ideas for my gran. In my local garden centre I got one of them spinning candle holders (don't know if anyone knows what they look like) I also got her a tub of her favourite foot butter and then the family tree and earrings.
I was ordering some DVDs for my dads birthday and was sent a voucher worth £5 so I got the Santa clause dvd gift box set with the voucher. :j
I'd love to see a picture of the finished earrings tooHi everyone, Hope everybody is ok. The festive spirit is amongst us all I see. It is exciting times! Missed you guys so much! I have a silhouette! I love it, there's some fab Facebook groups to join, those Americans are amazing with the things they make. Please let me know if you need any help or advice, I've had mine for 3.5 years! I loved it so much that my in laws bought me a professional cutter for Christmas, it's the same one that carte Blanche (tatty teddy) greeting cards use0462, not dim at all. I'd love to see a photo of these mini houses, they sound magical!
I'm feeling proud that for one entire week the house has been kept clean and I've managed to keep on top of housework. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal, but it's the most up together we've been since little My was born in january![/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Evening all,
I really think I need to start taking a tonic or vitamins. Ever since I had Laryngitis a couple of weeks ago I just cannot seem to get my energy levels up. I am exhausted after doing little things. Well its either my body getting over Laryngitis or since turning 40 my energy has started oozing out of my ears!
Chrissyg- that’s a fantastic price
Peppapig- No not sad at all, They sound amazing. I would love to see some photos please. They really do sound amazing, wish I had the skills to do that. I love Dolls houses!
Feistyfidget- Thank you I may well take you up on that. They are really amazing and im still in the stage of being completely amazed at everything it can do. Well done on your achievement, it does not sound silly at all. Totally remember the days after dd was born. How is Mr FF doing?0 -

PEPPAPIG you arent sad at all i used to do dolls houses i did a bakery which was all lit up with lights inside and a lamp outside, with a dog weeing up the lamp post (my type of humour) :rotfl: and i made all the doughnuts, cakes and buns then i started a pub which was going to be the queen vic from eastenders but never got round to finishing it, i used to go to dolls house fairs and spend a fortune on teeny tiny bits, DD1 had a thatched roof cottage, and DD2 did a post office, its a lovely hobby!
FEISTY glad you are getting into a routine now, it does take time
CHRISSY thankyou i will go and have a nose
04624181 it does take time to get your strength back after being ill, its only last weekend and this week i have felt so much stronger and able to do housework and cook dinners#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
Good Morning all,
My day started with a vomiting dd at 3.30am and she has been unable to keep anything down since. Her temp is high and the calpol was brought straight back up as soon as she took it. She is now on the couch with a bowl beside her.
As she is so poorly she wants me close so it looks like a day on the couch on the laptop. I may do a little Christmas research. Would like to make some home crafted items this year.
Also for my birthday I got a Soap and Glory set and have fallen in love with the products totally! Cannot wait for the boots Christmas special when they do the huge pack for a knock down price now.
Free- I am going to have a look into these dolls houses. It sounds wonderful. Hope you are feeling better.0 -
