  • I'm going to opt out of MFW this year, I've had some changes in circumstances which means I can't plan to overpay at the moment. if things settle down, I'll re-evaluate and post any savings I've made. good luck all!

    £100 paid this morning.

Thats a total of £200 paid so far this month and hopefully another £100 will get paid tomorrow but will update when and if that happens!

Hope all the dribs and drabs is ok. Would it be easier if I totalled it up once a month?

    morning

    thanks for number - 73

no payment made yet, ive £200 sat in savings but can't pay over till i get to £500 so i think i'll wait till its actually been sent before declaring the amount

is this what everyone does, i see folk paying a few pounds so i guess some mortgages don't specify amounts

i did try to pay £500 at the end of last month but they wouldn't accept it as they said i couldn't pay within 14 days of a direct debit being taken!!! i decided to mot my car a couple of weeks early, cost £300 of it now hence only £200 left

has anyone else had these problems? according to that reasoning there are only 2 or 3 days a month i can actually overpay

    thanks

I'm in the same boat! I have to wait until I get to £500 before I can overpay and I can't pay within 10 days of the DD coming out, or at least they prefer that as it confuses their systems :rotfl:.

I have a separate account that I put the money into and once it hits £500 I OP.

I just post on here once I've made a payment of at least £500.
