wifi hotspot how do i turn my mobile into one?

I am told I have some giga bite of data which i can turn into a wifi hotspot how do i do that. Thanks in anticipation.

Put you phones make and model into Google with the words 'how to' and 'mobile hotpot'. I'm sure you'll find a talk through or even a youtube vid that will help.

I'm not sure, but I think this is considered "tethering" by mobile providers. Most contracts only allow you to use a small proportion of your data allowance when tethered, so you might want to double-check so you don't run up an unexpectedly large bill.

Something like - settings - wifi - thethering & portable hotspot. on your phone. Turn it on.

I've found that some providers just block tethering unless you pay extra. Last time I tried it on Three they certainly did.

Thanks, google was a help. I have managed to set up the hot spot but I cannot connect anything to it as wifi is limited. Have called 3 many times but they have not sorted it yet.Additional wifi hot spot should have 12gb of data, is that not enough for a month for an hour or so laptop access?

What tariff are you actually on and what are you utilising to connect? There is no tethering for a PAYG voice SIM..

it is sim only 12 month contract, all you can eat data, text, just 200 mins voice though and hot spot 12gb.

Not sure what you are asking, how much per month? 18£. The phone is capable for creating personal hot spot, so the devices will connect to the phone.
