    UPDATE

I did complain. I got hold of a supervisor to speak to, they reviewed all the notes and case and came back to me that they were prepared to pass the file to the solicitors.

They filed a case in the court, then the third party came back and offered 50/50, at this stage I was in for a penny, in for a pound and declined (strangely I would have jumped at that at the beginning of the process).

It went to court. Apparently the third party defense was I had admitted it at the scene  I did no such thing and was fuming this was the first I heard of it, my insurance company did not inform me this was what was being claimed.

The judge decided in my favour, all the evidence pointed to the door being hit when it was already open. There was damage to the front of the third party car, there was damage to the inside of my door and most importantly no damage to the outside of my door. The Judge also said it was believable for me to be strapping my son in, in the place I was standing.

I don't need anymore help I changed the thread title (see title on this page) I don't know why the title did not update on the main pages.

I updated the old thread with my result just in case anyone who gave advice previously would like to know the outcome.

The title I see (on this page as well as the first page ... I have my profile set to show 40 posts per page) is What are my liabilities? UPDATE need more help! Maybe you'd need to edit the first post to change the title?

No matter - glad it's all sorted for you. :)

The one I see on this page is what I changed it to What are my liabilities? UPDATED with result.

The one on the main page still shows for me to what you can see. I can see where the confusion is. I don't know where/how to change it (Sorry)

Will add a bit into the main text of the OP, thanks
