My special boy was PTS yesterday and I can't stop crying

Thank you all for your kind words, it's been a week and I now only cry when I'm talking about him (rather than every 10 mins).

The house is just so quiet without him, I keep looking at our bed and the one in the spare room expecting him to be curled up there. I keep expecting him to walk into the room but the worst bit is the place in the kitchen, where his food and water dishes were, being empty.
I know we didn't have any option and that it will get better in time, but it's difficult to see that right now because he was a part of our family for so long.

Only checked back on MSE to see if any recent posts on my threads elsewhere, and saw your reply. Bought tears to my eyes again, in a matter of seconds. Guess I'm not as tough as I first though...
