Oops. Haven't updated for a few weeks. Another £21.83 added for June and £5.81 so far for July. It's a bit different now I am earning better interest on my current account than the savings so as I am not actually moving the money anywhere I forget to update.The person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.

So I have both good and bad news to update my fellow VSPers with
Good news: so far this month I have saved £32.46 and have a cheque for £5.40 that will get paid into the bank tomorrow (not counting it until the money hits my account though
) Of course I'll continue to save more during July, still 2/3rds of the month left to go 
Bad news: I'm reducing my savings goal
When I set my goal it factored in repayment of damages done to my old car that would've covered the cost of the new-to-me car... it's now July (13 months since the damage was caused) and I have not seen a penny :mad: so my official goal will be £2,200 instead. This means I will have technically saved £3k this year but as I had to buy the new-to-me car there will only be £2.2k in my VSP at year end (assuming I do manage to reach my goal) so £2.2k shall be my goal.
