Ideas for Xmas Boxing Day

Hi Cherrys one
Travelled with my hubby and my Dad.We stayed in a private rental while my dad stayed in Montana Suites.Wish it had been other way round lol.Motana Suites room was huge and plenty of kiddies round pool and my dad said bar was great he never sat on his own for long.Theres also Club Atalantico which is right beside Motana Suites had a quick nosey at these and must admit was really impressed though not sure as many kids would stay there as Montana suites.
We have flew with Jet2,Air lingus, and Thomas cook.Over the last few years we've found Thomas Cook to be the cheapest for flight only, though Easyjet is now doing flights this may change. To stay over Xmas you will be paying a premium on both flights and hotel but can't recommend this time of year highly enough. We paid £295 for flights inc baggage leaving 10-17 th Dec going by Xmas's we've stayed before be prepared to at a guess at least double the price of flights.BTW we spent the 16 th of Dec on the beach.(Heaven)PM me if you need any info on location of apts or hotels as Peorto Del Carmen ( in my humble opinion the only resort to stay in this time me of year)can be extremely hilly hence the name Cardiac Hill being the nickname of one of the streets.Miriamx0 -

At least he managed the right forum unlike the twits on here who obviously haven't realized boasting about holidays goes on the Overseas forum- There's even a thread inviting people to share where they are going....... although Lanzarote is a bit pedestrian compared with some of the trips posted about on that thread
Can you please explain what gives you any right to come on to this thread here on the Northern Ireland board and start judging people and name calling because as far as i can tell :-
(a) you didnt contribute to the original thread
(b) you havent contributed to any other thread on here for 3 months+
(c) you dont even live in Northern Ireland, you live in KENT
Really, if you have to search far and wide on the entire MSE site to find something to be offended by you should maybe try getting out more or find a hobby?0 -

Just to add to your info, we paid similar for the flights via Jet2 on the way out and Easyjet on the way back
We're staying in a villa in Playa Blanca which is equidistant to the Marina at one end of the resort and the old town at the other - probably a 20 mins walk to each.
And likewise if anyone needs further info, dont hesitate to PM me.0 -
Hi Motorguy... So jealous we came back from PDC on the 17th and would go back in an instant! If you're near PDC can recommend Lani's for a meal top quality and best food in Lanzorte.
Ps Anyone have a problem with my post ...I really don't give a Tickity Boo xxx
Funny you should mention a Lanis restaurant - we've been frequenting a Lanis restaurant here in Playa Blanca down at the Marina. Could be the same owners?0 -
