What's the weather like ? Thinking about next year

22 degrees during the day, dropping to about 17 in the evenings.

You'd need a fleece if you were out in the evening time, but daytime is just right.

Jet2 and Easyjet fly direct and theres lots of options for villas on the likes of Owners Direct

    https://www.ownersdirect.co.uk/rentals/canary-islands/lanzarote/r735

Car hire is cheap too. Plenty of options for package hols but we thought we'd give a villa a go. We had fancied an all inclusive couples holiday which is what we have done in the recent past, but couldnt get the dates to line up.

I do IT contract work so going away now means i'm not taking revenue earning days off during the summer.

Based on what we've seen so far, i'd recommend it - the airports werent busy, theres people about, but not too many, and everywhere is open. Plugs that dead time gap between christmas and new year too.

I posted on the 26th. Keep up at the back! ;)

Yes, you would have heard about it. Based on what we've experience so far, i'd recommend getting away over christmas or between christmas / new year. I'd happily have went to Bangor - the Clandeboye Lodge is one of our favourite hotels - it was about getting away from it all, rather than the "where". Edinburgh and Enniskillen were on our list too but we spotted this villa and flights were cheap.

Sorry that caused you offence - i'm almost crying in my San Miguel as we speak...

Post #4 is by Shereen not you.

I've already said a break right now is better for me as i'm an IT contractor and i'd lose revenue earning days going over the summer.

Cant see why you're getting so upset - people take holidays all year round - ours just happens to be now. I'll be slaving away July / August when most others go on theirs.

Given how up tight you are, maybe you need a break? ;)

Lots of side-stepping in that last monologue - my point is and one which you haven`t yet commented on is what help is a run-down on your holiday got anything to do with the OP`s original inquiry about Belfast??

    Please now tell??

Oh and check the Thanks in #4, something that you should have done in fact.

No side stepping at all. I'm merely continuing to post in the spirit in which the original post was intended. If you've chosen to take offence by it, then frankly thats your problem. It was a throw away comment - lets be honest its no biggie getting away on hols at some point during the year. Ours just happens to be now - not sure why that has outraged you so much?

I've been asked for more info and i've been happy to provide that.

Not sure what your problem is with that?

Maybe next year getting away for christmas is a suggestion for the O/P? Dont know. I know more people are doing it and we probably will again.

My comment was you hadnt posted on this thread offering advice - which you havent.

You clicked "thanks" on a post - woohoo! I'm sure that helped the O/P too, and did you bother going along to help or do you just like being outraged on the internet?
