Oh its just one person clearly with a chip on their shoulder who couldnt handle a simple throw away comment.

You looking for a Villa or a package holiday type deal?

We found one of the problems was getting a local flight out of NI around Christmas without having the added expense of flying to the UK mainland first. We did find options out of Dublin with https://www.falconholidays.ie

Can recommend the regular carriers though through Belfast International - had a surprisingly positive experience using Jet2 and we're returning by Easyjet, both of which are easily booked on line.
  • Just myself and 11 year old ..package all inclusive central i usually use jet2

Lucky folks! The weather has been particularly good in Lanzarote so far this winter. Last year was terrible, the weather broke mid November (the day we left) and storms and rain continued for about three months.
  • Look, I'm bored rigid with all this off-topic chit-chat about going abroad.
I wonder what the OP finally decided to do over Christmas - if you are reading this OP maybe you would like to tell us. Ignore motorguy's attempts to digress. ;)
  • I didn't go to the cinema after all

I lounged about the house drinking wine and eating junk

    T'was bliss
NO MORE HANDWASH GLITCHES PLEASE :D:D

Yea, hopefully the new poster made out ok and wasn`t put off by the `hey everybody look at us - as long as i`m alright jack` types, .... can`t be pleasant to spend Christmas time on your own

Well as you like to get angry with strangers on the internet, heres a guy on the main motoring board has just bought a new car and posted to say so, if you want to go berate him - i'm sure everyone on that thread will love to hear from you too.

Oh, and can you confirm you went down to Common Grounds and help out with Christmas dinner - you seemed to be making a big deal about clicking "thanks" and reminding us all that you had?

I asked you before but i guess you were too busy being offended to reply?

At least he managed the right forum unlike the twits on here who obviously haven't realized boasting about holidays goes on the Overseas forum- There's even a thread inviting people to share where they are going....... although Lanzarote is a bit pedestrian compared with some of the trips posted about on that thread :)
