    Many thanks for that - and yes, he did go for an exchange as he liked the jacket. It was me in my full on miserable git mode that didn't believe they couldn't offer refunds. It would appear, and thanks to everyone who responded, that the outlet store is on dodgier ground after the October law came through.

    Thanks again for all the opinions - I may wander past just to point it out to a manager in true Victor Meldrew mode!
