Yes looked at the notice and it appears to comply but I would be really grateful if a more experienced eye could glance at it! I have posted the link to the notice and letter I have received.

    Cheers

Here you go, but you'll need to lie on your side to read most. One will require a headstand!

The link is a bit slow to open.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thank you for the excellent guidance and advice on this situation. I feel strongly that I want to challenge these vile scaremongers, but I have a family and very limited resources. If I keep challenging will the costs go higher than the 100 pound that this company is claiming I already owe them ?
  • I would argue that NtD is non compliant.
The vehicle and relevant land are not specified adequately
The driver is not advised that of the requirement to pay parking charges for the specified period of parking but simply told told they are liable for a £100 charge
The driver is not advised that the parking charges have not been paid in full for the specified period of parking

The specified period of parking is arguably inadequate

Nope, like any parking ticket (private or Council) it's always £100 or nothing when appealing - and we help people pay nothing.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

it can only go higher if they take legal action . That would raise the claim to approx £175 .if it went to a hearing and you lost it would cost circa £200 unless you acted unreasonably in which case some costs could be awarded.
Prior to court action you will be threatened by powerless debt collectors who will try inflating the £100 by £40-£60.
Some claims issued are now trying to lump in these debt collector fees too and we'll have to wait and see if these get awarded. Small claims is a lottery and the aim of my letter is to make them less likely to pick you although who knows with this lot.

At the end of the day you do what you are comfortable with.
UKCPS do issue claims but not in vast numbers but that is of little comfort if you are one of the chosen few

Hello would like some advice on the following. We recieved PCN on the 8/11/2015 parking in a disabled bay, I was not driving due to my condition but have a blue badge but we did not realise that this was a disabled bay due to poor lighting, weather and signage. I Sent a letter of appeal by registered post. which they did not receive!!

And there, in a nutshell, my friends, is why using registered post/signed for when sending mail to parking scumpanies is not recommended!

Not criticising the OP, as I can understand why those not in the know think it's a good idea, but the PPC can refuse to accept them, thus proving non-service.

Just use first-class post and get a free proof of posting certificate from the Post Office.
