Parking Ticket Claim Form

Hello all!
Firstly I'd like to say - what an amazing community of online whizzkids! It's beautiful to read through all these helpful threads and to see people out there so willing to help others. Really is just brilliant.
And so, I'd like to throw this out there and see what comes back.
I've been reading through lots about dodgy parking co's and there's just sooo much to take in. In my case, I had a parking ticket attached to my windscreen in Nov 2014. I had paid £8 for 3 hours in a private parking spot (not sure if I should say where?). I was 7 mins late coming back and was slapped in the face with £100 fine.
I looked online and found many of these complaints against this particular car park, so decided to go with my gut and ignore. I then received a letter in April 2015 saying that I will be taken to court if I did not pay £160. Again, this letter looked dodgy, no website or email address - just a PO BOX and paymypcn.com.
I did then contact them and said I wanted to appeal. Received a straight - NO YOU ARE LATE. Past the 28 days and their solicitors will be in touch if no payment received. Absolute Joke.
Ignored. Then ignored.
THEN - BAM - had the county court claim form arrive through my letter box.
I acknowledge this on the 28th November 2015 so now I have to prepare my case. I've read that it's important to stick to the case and don't explain anything. Can someone tell me what this means?
My defence will be along the lines of this -
I do not agree with the PCN as I was not the driver. I was also refused the chance to appeal.
I did not receive the NTK and wanted proof that this was sent to me.
I attempted to make an appeal in April but was immediately rejected. No option but to pay.
Obviously I'll need to reword and work on this but hopefully someone might be able to steer me in the right direction?
Oh one last thing - is it safe to say who the parking company and solicitors are on here? They might be listening... I've seen 100's of threads naming them so they're well known to you guys!

Oh..and the particulars of the claim are as follows -
For parking services and indemnity costs if applicable inc £**.** interest persuant to S.69 of the CCA 1984. Rate 8% from dates above to ****. Same rate to judgement0 -
Yes, ed, do name the scumpany!
[By now, you know it wasn't a 'f- - -' too, just another unenforceable invoice.]
'I looked online and found many of these complaints against this particular car park, so decided to go with my gut and ignore.'
- a pity you didn't find mse then, but better late than never.
You also made the unfortunate error of contacting them, so presumably you have no record of these/any? comms and their code-violating responses.
Is it this lot? [from your para.4, l4.]

Hey Ampersand! Thanks for the quick reply

Ok - UK Parking Limited along with the wonderful Gladstones Solicitors. (God that feels good)
I contacted a company called UCS who seems to be the only contact for this company? There was a PO Box which to me looked dodgy in itself.
I also found that they are no longer with BPA and moved to IPC in September. I contacted BPA who confirmed this and said that there is nothing they can do because they are no longer registered with them. They also said I have no leg to stand on because I did not appeal within 28 days.
I have the emails clearly stating that I had no other choice but to pay. If I don't, they will get their solicitors involved. Which they did.
Thoughts?0 -
Really big hitters these chaps.

I wonder how they found the money for the filing fee.
A short letter to trading Standards might be in order. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Doubt they could afford the court fees or solicitors
£-12.8K Net worth (minus)
£21.1K of liabilities
£8.3K Assets.

Uk parking limited. Second on that ipc list. I've done a company check and the director is a plumber. There are a few similar names out there but it's definitely uk parking limited.
The more I look into this, the messier it seems to get? Moved from bpa in sept to ipc. Is it true that the bpa recently stated that 10 min grace period must be applied to keep in line with council car parks? Or are my sources wrong?0 -

however , look at the date that they joined the IPC , (
UK Parking Limited
01/10/2015
and they left the BPA when?
and the date of your initial ticket?
can you clarify the date the left the BPA according to them?
I feel that gladstones are taking them for an expensive ride , as per parking pranksters court reports regarding them
at the time of the incident they were members of the BPA , so you should ask for a alternate resolution before the court case.Save a Rachael
