Good, Cheap Conveyancing

Very fair point.
Being cheaper isn't worthwhile if the service doesn't actually meet the customers needs.
Especially with something like conveyancing etc... if the provider is undercuting the price... what short cuts are they taking?:www: Progress Report :www:

Deposit: £23'000
Mortgage approved for: £84'000

And paying someone £200 more for the privilege of them replying to emails 3 days later isn't my idea of good service...even if they have a bigger office/are more well knownMortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0

Got into the same conversation on here before. Family/friends may have dealt with them during a quiet period so not like-for-like. May also have dealt with them prior to a big price hike.
I was happy with my solicitor, does that mean I'm going to use him again next time? No. The same way I'm not going to be happy to pay £10/month for Tesco Mobile when I can get Life Mobile for £6/month. If he's still not giving one of the lowest prices next time then he loses my businessMortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0

Fair enough, you do that. Going off on a tangent from the initial analogy.
For the sake a couple of hundred pounds for a purchase more than 200k plus, I'm sure most would be happy to rely on someone they have been recommended.0 -

I'm sorry but you cannot compare low cost mobile phone provision to conveyancer services.
The boards on here are testament to that. Virtually every thread on here regarding bad conveyancing is due to either they were cheap, EA recommended or a factory outfit.0
