I think I must be on the wrong board here. Recommending something that costs £400 to replace a completely viable £30 option really isn't money saving.0

yup , you can even buy some rubbish from china for £15 , but WILL it work?
actually the nuc is the back up computer and it was only the cost of the M2 card to make it duel boot , and a £6 xbox remote , so it works out cheaper than a PiSave a Rachael

Well the Android Kodi based media player I bought for £26.95 delivered on eBay works just fine for me. If it hadn't I'd have opened a "not as described" dispute and got a refund.0

It came with kodi installed amongst other apps. The kodi was out of date but as the box can access the Play store it was easy enough to update. Using a wireless keyboard with a touchpad which I already had makes things a bit easier than just using an IR remote but it is still completely usable with just the remote and you can add whatever add-ons you choose if the pre-installed ones don't suit your needs.0

Just buy an Amazon Fire stick currently £35 and sideload Kodi onto it. With Kodi you can watch films, TV , live sport, http://www.htpcbeginner.com/install-kodi-on-amazon-fire-tv/
