In my calendar I have my energy bill as the 22nd so I hadn't transferred money to cover that yet. Today I get a text from NatWest saying I've gone over my agreed fees & to pay by 2pm to "minimise fees"...does that mean I'm still gonna get a charge? =/ the funds are now in
Edit: apparently no charge...MSE should really have a delete thread option

Who was wrong, you or the energy company?
The 22nd is Tuesday so no reason for the bank to pay the DD early, depending on what they do with non-banking days (some do it early some just reserve the money early, some pay early).
If you were wrong and the money was taken on the correct date, just update your calendar.
If the energy company took it early, then it's time to send them a complaint.0 -
18th is correct
