Well 1 day to go..we fly to LV tomorrow for our annual Halloween visit.Staying at the Wynn, having stayed at the Venetian in June ,it has a lot to live up to.Pre booked seats and an extra case for the journey home but my god Thomas Cook don't make things easy....only for the fact they fly direct in the winter months is probably the other reason we use them.Didnt think we would make this trip as I have been in and out of hospital the last 10 weeks but am back to normal now and no matter how expensive things have become I am still going to shop till I drop!!!

I must have missed you in June 'cos we were at the Venetian. Never mind. :)
Take some earplugs if you are staying at the Wynn. While it's a nice place, depending which floor you are staying on, sometimes you can hear the nightclub music at the weekends. It gets a bit annoying at 3am in the morning, and we were on the 34th floor.

Get it redeemed asap if you haven't already. It can take ages to get to your account.

Cheers for the info. Actually did it this morning, so hopefully should be ok timewise.

A bit of a weather update. Yesterday was really wet and dull. This morning looked similar and it was cool early on. The sun is out now though, and I hope it stays there for a while.

Been here for a week now. Haven't done a lot because we have both been ill. I'm currently waiting in line to do the second half of Orleans slot tournament. Don't think I'll be in the money this time, first round was abysmal.

    .Staying at the Wynn, QUOTE]

We stayed at the Encore adjoining the Wynn in the summer and asked for a quiet room and didn't hear a peep despite there being multiple night clubs, pool parties etc. If noise bothers you ask for a quiet room - ours didn't have an amazing view of the strip looking upwards rather than down it but it was worth it for great sleep with no noise.

and pebbles, sorry to hear you are not feeling well - hope both of you are on the mend soon.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
