well - that's potentially a magical thing...thank you!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
We seen the Amazon locker when walking through the linq area last month.
We had looked long and hard on Amazon.com for a "bargain" so we could try it,but found nothing we really wanted at the time.
As pebbles says, they definitely accept uk cards...we have also ordered quite a few things from their site without problem.0 -
Can anyone help me with reclaiming the 30% tax on a winning? I've spent hours trawling through google and can't find the help I need!0

are you still in LAS? the casino should give you a form to complete and you'll receive the full winnings.

A payer is required to issue you a Form W-2G (PDF), Certain Gambling Winnings, if you receive certain gambling winnings or if you have any gambling winnings subject to federal income tax withholding. You must report all gambling winnings on your Form 1040 (PDF) as "Other Income" (line 21), including winnings that are not subject to withholding. In addition, you may be required to pay an estimated tax on your gambling winnings. For information on withholding on gambling winnings, refer to Publication 505, Tax Withholding and Estimated Tax. If you are considered a nonresident alien of the United States for income tax purposes and you have to file a tax return, you must use Form 1040NR (PDF), U.S. Nonresident Alien Income Tax Return. Refer to Publication 519, U.S. Tax Guide for Aliens, and Publication 901, U.S. Tax Treaties, for more information.0 -

I don't think the casinos have to do the tax paperwork for an ITIN to give you the full amount - the can (Paris did for my hubby), but they don't have to.
I think if you have this form they will give you the full amount?

Not sure if you can retrospectively produce it...if not, then it may be that filing a US tax return for the refund may be the only option.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
not sure I have seen this before - open rehersals at Love, and free tour of Ka.

We are flying with Thomas Cook on Tuesday. It's the first time in ages that we have flown with them, probably over 10 years. I have a few questions.
How strict are they with hand luggage weights (it's only 6kg), and do they allow a personal item as well?
We got a good price for the flight, but we are wondering about meals on board. Are they any good? What, if any, drinks are free? Is it just free with your meal?0 -

Not sure about hand luggage going out, hubby had rucksack and I had large handbag, coming home we had same, but I also carried on a large Michael Kors handbag I had purchased and it was inside a paper/card bag from the shop. So basically I took 2 large handbags on as hand luggage.
There is a hot meal usually chicken or beef served with tea/ coffe/ water/juice, then mini rolls, crackers and a cake served with the same beverages closer to landing time. They also come round with a mini cornetto and water throughout the flight. All other drinks need to be purchased, they come round 2 or 3 times I think and you can also just call the steward/ess for anything else. Coming back another hot meal, then just before landing it's a cereal bar, yogurt and fresh orange.0 -
