Finally got the OH to agree to flying transatlantic ..... He was talking about taking a med cruise in April for his birthday and I pointed out the weather could be iffy so what about a Bahamas cruise instead and visit Kennedy Space Cenre (both cruise and the KSC are on his bucket list). I found a great deal on a Carnival cruise . He even agreed to go from DUB (but not GOT lol) although having played with some flights it's just as cheap in the spring to fly exLHR . Breaking him in gently so Vegas is a bit too far although he rather liked the idea of a long layover in Toronto and I can actually get a 23 hour layover scheduled. Not booked yet so lm not counting my chickens just yet ......but looking good.

Now does anyone have the Manchester number to call the US to save me a long wade back through posts please ?

Think this might be it. Found using google though so could be different. Follow links, USA one is USA (016)-131-13111 (£ 0,00 / minute)

    hi
In regards your esta there is a link on the first page of this forum which takes you to the site
i think its about $14 or something per person and lasts for 2 years regardless of how many times you go.

I bought an ESTA yesterday using my shiny new Supercard. Rate was $1.24, at the time the like of Tesco/Sainsbury was $1.21 for cash.

Watch out for the "rate adjustment" on your Supercard account.

If the rate goes down before they sent it to your linked card they adjust it

Sounds reasonable. A lot of the coupons in American Casino Guide are for new customers. We don't tend to get one of those for that reason. We always get the MRB, but we go twice a year.

Think I might go for the MRB when we go to Vegas. Had a lot in work wise and completely forgot about the book!

    Bobby:
Some of the Mlife offers let you book online, and some you have to call...
If you try to book online and it doesn't allow you to pick the date, then you call anyway and hope they just book it in :D

I made a few calls earlier this year to Luxor VIP services as I kept changing my offers with them, as new offers kept coming in with higher resort credits.. (ie: in the end, we had credits in Mirage/MC/Luxor).....
As baza said, u get the credit (and u can confirm it at check-in), the credit amount auto (but not always!, sometimes needs the operators input) comes off the bill, and you pay whatever is left, or try your luck and get it all wiped! :D

Potential useful MSE news... There's now an Amazon Locker at the Linq Promenade, could be useful for buying cheap supplies? Coffee machine, kettles...

Anyone know for sure if Amazon allow orders from non-us cards? Reason I ask is that I tried to order a pair of trainers from the Brooks website (with hotel address on the order), and the next day I got a 'sorry we do not do not deliver to people who have credit cards outside the United States' type of message.

Amazon definitely do. I've ordered lots of things from the USA site.
