Disposing of confidential paper

depending on how much of the paper is confidential you can also look at things such as :
- cutting off the name and address / account numbers and putting the rest of the sheet into the recycling
- using a marker pen or a custom made stamp to obliterate the confidential info and then recylcing (this kind of thing http://www.amazon.co.uk/Protection-Inking-Identity-Rolling-Privacy/dp/B00J338NQI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453113004&sr=8-1&keywords=obliterating+stamp)
I tend to do mine as I go along so I don't build up too much. I have also had a mini-bonfire in a just-about-to-be-binned saucepan to get rid of receipts and the strips ton off the top of letters and statements and showing confidential details.
You can also reduce the risk by making it less pleasant - soaking in water, or in cold coffee, and mixing it in with old food waste is less eco-friendly (as you can;t then recycle) but may mean it is much less likely that anyone is going to dig through it!All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0
